SUPPORT TO MUMBAI CHILDREN

Who are we?

In 2022, a French woman in love with India, made eye contact with a homeless baby girl. A look at her and the Indian Smiles charity project was born. Since the beginning, Indian Smiles receives a logistical support from the Indian association Ra Foundation, Indian Smiles obtained the status of non-profit association in 2007.

Our mission

Convince Mumbai homeless parents to send their child to school.

Find boarding schools or accommodation around Mumbai, as well as the necessary funding for the children's education: €2,000-2,500 per year and child depending on their age, situation and the family's needs.

Provide for the education of these children and adolescents during their studies and until they obtain a job in their country.

Our commitment
Support and educate the children as far as possible bearing their emotional welfare and financial independence in mind, inform about the children's follow-up and their development, answer donors' questions, ensure confidentiality and financial transparency on the delivery and use of donations.

News and events

Indian Smiles organises charity sales, exhibitions and events, the profits of which are used to finance the children tuition fees and living expenses.

For the first time in thirteen years, due to the recent health situation, no event could be organised over 2020-2022. Maintaining children's education was complex during the school closure period. Their living conditions are now of great concern. More than ever these children need your support.
